As couple celebrates marriage anniversary
In a noble initiative, Gopi Mohan Patnaik and his wife Ashalata of OUAT Colony here celebrated their marriage anniversary by organising a family blood donation camp on Friday.
In fact, the couple has been organising such camp on the occasion of their anniversary since 2004.The programme, held under the chairmanship of Gopi Mohan’s father Madan Mohan Patnaik, was inaugurated by OUAT Vice-Chancellor Dr Manoranjan Kar.
A total of 35 units of blood were collected and given to the Capital Hospital here. Among others, Care for You MD Mihir Dash, Administration Officer Manas Ranjan Mishra, BiPros MD Dhirendra Kar, Capital Hospital MD Binod Mishra, OUAT Students’ Welfare president Dr Rabindra Kumar Dash and social activist Sushant Sahoo were present on the occasion.
