The Bharat Raksha Manch on Saturday honoured family members of the police personnel who sacrificed their lives while combating with Maoists at a special programme held on the occasion of the Kranti Divas here.
Noted persons like former DGP Amiya Bhusan Tripathy, former Vice-Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture Dr Bimalendu Mohanty, physician Dr Sanjit Panda and Manch national secretary Anil Dhir graced the occasion as guests.
The guests viewed that the martyrs who laid down their precious lives while combating the terrorists and anti-national elements should be honoured. Manch State secretary Murali Sharma coordinated the programme. Colourful cultural events marked the end of the celebration.
