The Raikia police arrested former Production Officer of the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Bhubaneswar, Jebedio Naik on Thursday in a fake caste certificate case. Naik was later forwarded to court.
A total of 13 persons have been arrested in different fake caste certificate cases in Kandhamal district so far. This is considered another achievement for the police as stated by district SP JN Pankaj. More investigations are continuing in the fake certificate cases and whoever has committed the crime would not be spared, the SP said.
The fake certificate cases are one of the main issued raised by the Kui Samaj in the district.
