Vigilance officers on Friday arrested Factories and Boilers Deputy Director Ramesh Kumar Behera, posted at Cuttack but presently working at the Directorate here, for allegedly possessing assets worth Rs 1,51,73,385 disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Vigilance sleuths had conducted simultaneous searches in his office and houses at five places in the State.
He has been sent to judicial custody till September 16.
