Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Shankar Eye Hospital at Samarjhola under Hinjlikatu block in Ganjam district on Saturdayeven if it is yet to be registered.
“We have applied for the registration of the hospital. It would be registered soon,” said the CDMO. After getting approval from the Collector, district Health Department officials would visit the hospital, he added.
Intellectuals of the city are discussing about the inauguration of the hospital by the CM in a hurry.
Interestingly, the district administration has been conducting raids on the unregistered hospitals in the city and taking action to close them.
