Explosives planted by Maoists seized

BSF personnel on Thursday seized explosives planted by Maoists in the Bhedaguda forest under Bandhugan block in Koraput district. According to reports, a team of BSF personnel from the Kumbhariput camp had gone for a combing operation in the Bhedaguda forest. On their way, they came across four electronic detonators and four bundles of wire lying on the roadside.

BSF Assistant Commandant Harindar Singh told reporters that the Maoists had planted the explosive devices only to target the security personnel as this is the only route that connects Bhedaguda with Kumbahriput.
