Commuters have to travel a long distance on the National Highway and change roads while coming from Hanspal to VSS Nagar to reach the State capital.
Following which, they had repeatedly knocked at the doors of different forums for solving the problems faced by them. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday made an on-the-spot review of the problems faced by the locals. Representatives of the VSS Unnayan Parishad, Senior Citizens’ Forum and lawyers’ Association had met Pradhan and apprised about the problems faced by them while travelling towards Vani Vihar and Saheed Nagar and urged him to solve it.
The Minister asked the NHAI officials to immediately complete the construction of the subway linking Saheed Nagar and VSS Nagar. He also asked the officials to prepare a report for construction of an over bridge at Hanspal. Pradhan also instructed for construction of a under pass at Hi-Tech Square for the convenience of villagers of Trishulia, Kanpur and Mancheswar.
