A multimedia exhibition titled Saal Ek-Shuruaat Anek, based on achievements of the NDA Government during the last one year, got underway here on Thursday.
The event, organised by the Directorate of Audio Visual Publicity (DAVP) in collaboration with the IndianOil, was inaugurated by Brahmapur SDM Nikhil Pavan Kalyan. The week-long expo will remain open to public from 11am to 9pm everyday.
The exhibition not only showcases achievements of the NDA Government through audio visual devices, but will also host banking services centre and free medical camp for the benefits of the visitors.
Information on various Government schemes and programmes like Direct Benefit Scheme for lPG customers, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Pradhan Matri Jan Dhan Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Make in India, etc, is put on display.
The event also highlights the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao programme, which aims at eradicating female feticide and ensuring women empowerment.
