Kedarnath Panda, Inspector of Excise, Nayagarh Range, was arrested by the Vigilance police for taking bribe of Rs 5,000 on Thursday. Panda was caught red-handed by Vigilance officers in his office-cum residence at Narayagarh while demanding and accepting the bribe from Dhruba Charan Patra of Gopalpur under the Ranapur police station for issue of a no-due certificate to grant licence for opening of an IMFl off shop at Sarankul.
