The Vigilance Special Court, Bhubaneswar on Tuesday passed the final order to confiscate movable and immovable properties worth Rs 19,04,137 of former Text Book Press Production and Maintenance Deputy Director Pratap Kishore Chhotray which were found amassed by him in excess to his known sources of income.
The properties include a three-storey building at Oberai Junction, two-storey building at Baramunda Brit Colony, homestead land at Sampur in Bhubaneswar, cash of Rs 4,265, one Bajaj scooter, one TVS Motor cycle, bank deposit of Rs 89,360 and silver ornaments weighing 142.5 gram etc.
The final order was passed to a case registered against Chhotray on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
