The Orissa State Ex-Services league held its general meeting at the 120 Infantry Battalion hereon Monday.
lieutenant General Narayan Mohanty presided over the meeting where various problems of the former Army personnel and demands on establishment of a canteen store depo, recreation hall for solders and healthcare system were discussed.
Besides, new functionaries were elected of the league on the occasion. lt Gen Narayan Mohanty as sponsor, Brigadier Basudeb Routray as advisor, Brigadier Barada Prasanna Patnaik as president, Colonel Sudarshan Kumar Mishra, Colonel Barendra Kumar Mishra, amd Suvedar Godabarish Mohapatra as vice-president, lieutenant Colonel lokanath Sahoo as general secretary, Captain Bishwa Prakash Sahoo and Suvedar Pradeep Giri as joint secretary and Havildar Sushant Kumar Nayak was elected as treasurer.
These apart, Naba Kishore Mishra, Dwijabar Barak, Gobind Chandra Mallick, Trilochan Das and Dinabandhu Sarangi were elected as executive members, informed election officer lieutenant Colonel Prasanna Kumar Sahoo.
