Acting on the complaints of acquisition of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income by suspended Jaleswar police station IIC Dhaneswar Sahoo, Vigilance officers on Tuesday conducted raids at his Government quarter and houses at seven different places and detected assets worth Rs 1,11,35,715 in his and his family members’ names.
The detected assets included a flat at Bhubaneswar of Rs 43,86,256, a double storied building in Cuttack of Rs 17,63,937, temple construction of Rs 24,70,478, vehicles of Rs 10,60,000, bank deposits of Rs 6,55,669 and insurance deposits of Rs 3,61,447. The inquiry was in progress, informed an official release.
