The Vigilance police on Thursday carried out simultaneous searches at five different places connected with former Forest Ranger Jagabandhu Padhy in Aska of Ganjam district on the allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to his known sources of income.
The searches were conducted in a house of Padhy in Sunam Sahi and another near the Government bus-stand in Aska and three others in Bhanjanagar, Brahmapur and Bhubaneswar..
The raids started by multiple teams in the morning and were still ongoing till filing of the report.
Earlier, Padhy was also under the Vigilance scanner in a DA case.
