One three storied building, six quarters type houses at Bhramanipara, Balangir, four plots at Dwarsuni, Bhwanipatna of former Deputy Director, Social Forestry Project Division Kalahandi Babaji Mishra were confiscated by the respective police of the two districts on a special order passed by a Vigilance Court here.
The court had asked for confiscication of movable and immovable properties of Mishra worth Rs 15,15,628,13. Mishra had faced an allegation of possessing disproportionate assets and the Vigilance, Brahmapur division had registered a case against him in 1995. The case was transferred to the Court of Special Judge, Special Court, Bhubaneswar in 2012.
