The special squad of the Bhubaneswar Smart City ltd (BSCl) on Monday undertook another eviction drive and removed 21 vendors and razed 16 advertisement boards from footpaths between Bapuji Nagar and Vani Vihar Square.
Besides, it requested the PWD Department to remove three signboards placed on foot path in front of RD University. They too carried out checking of encroachment on the foo path and cycle path from Vani Vihar to Sishu Bhawan. Similarly, the Special Joint Squad (SJS) of the BDA removed 10 street vendors foot path and cycle path from New Air Port Square to Patia.
Besides, the CEMC Squad of the BDA removed and demolished five wooden cabins and two thatched houses near the Jayashree Plywood at Master Canteen Square.
