Hence, everyone should come forward to donate blood and save valuable lives, said Health and Family Welfare Minister Damodar Rout here Friday. Inaugurating a camp organised by the Bhubaneswar Chemists and Druggists Association (BCDA) on the death anniversary of late Atal Bihari Pattnaik, founder member of BCDA, Rout gave floral tributes to Pattnaik and said that donating blood has noteworthy health benefits for the donors as well as the patients. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Surya Narayan Patro, Forest and Environment Minister Bijoyshree Routray, Government Chief Whip in Assembly Prabhat Tripathy, Bhubaneswar Central MlA Bijay Mohanty, Balipatna MlA Arabinda Dhali and BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena also gave floral tributes to late Pattnaik and lauded the role played by members of BCDA.
