OdishalIVE will organise “Madhubabu and Make In Odisha”, a programme for presenting Madhubabu’s spirit of entrepreneurship and impart his ideology globally on May 28 here.
On the occasion, Minister Industries, School and Mass Education Devi Prasad Mishra will inaugurate the event as the chief guest and Minister Panchayati Raj and law Dr Arun Kumar Sahoo will attend as guest of honour.
A memorial lecture on Madhubabu by the author and orator Dash Benhur is one of the highlights of the occasion. He will speak on the Madhusudan Das’s contributions to Utkal, his views on the potential of Odisha in becoming a centre of excellence in manufacturing, industry and agriculture.
A booklet will also be released on the legend called ‘Madhubabu – TheGlobal Indian’ focusing on his life and time, his dream of Making In Odisha, his dogmas and presenting him on national and global arena.
Odishalive will also felicitate home grown veteran entrepreneurs with the ‘Kushali Odia Samman’ to admire the success and accomplishments of the self made industrialists, entrepreneurial executives, entrepreneurs and their involvement towards the development of theState.
The Editorial Head of Odisha lIVE Nilambar Rath said, “The concept of ‘Making In Odisha’ is not new to our State. Madhusudan Das had already given this hypothesis long before Mahatma Gandhi introduced theconcept of ‘Swadeshi’ by establishing industrial ventures like the “Odisha Art Ware” and the “Utkal Tannery”. In fact, Gandhiji was so inspired by the tannery during his visit to Odisha that he set up a similar venture at Sabarmati Ashram.”
