With an aim to equip the participants with skills of conflict management and peace building, an orientation programme on ‘Peace-a-basis for development’ was organised by the Society for Nature Education and Health (SNEH) at Sampriti-Sneh’s centre for peace and non-violence here on Friday.
The event was attended by young social workers and social work students from National Institute of Social Science. It aims to help the social activists acknowledge the need for peace and its role in development of the society and need for ragging-free campuses which would prevent violence in all forms.
