To bring together all stakeholders of the event management industry and streamline its structure for its overall development, the Event Management Association of Odisha on Friday opened the registration process for members with the launch of its official website www.emao.in.
Terming it the ‘Beginning of Good Times’ during this uncertain period, the office-bearers have called upon everyone, associated with the event management sector, to be a part of the association.
“Event management is one of the biggest industries today and all other sectors depend on this industry. If this sector grows in a professional and structured manner, the entire State would benefit out of it,” said SatyabrataSanu Ratho, president, EMAO and founder director Prelude Novel Ventures.
While Shiv Patnaik, vice president, EMAO, requested all stakeholders to join hands and make the association stronger, Saroj Kumar Mallia, secretary, EMAO spoke about the different memberships available.
The e-meeting was coordinated by journalist Diksha Tiwari. Executive members Sonu Nanda, Aditya Sharma, Dibya Ranjan Lenka, Chandan Nayak and Treasurer Asutosh Panda were present, among others. EMAO joint secretary Akshyendu Patnaik gave the vote of thanks.
