A meeting of the Steering Committee headed by Nabakishore Pujari was held on Sunday here in the presence of former Union Minister KP Singh Deo, former Dtate Minister NCN Das, former local MlA Krushna Chandra Patra and senior Congress leader Dr Bidhan Chandra Mishra to discuss the activities of Enzen power company in Dhenkanal.
Significantly, the Enzen management assured to provide best customer services to the denizens. The Enzen PRO said that in coordination with the CESU, appropriate steps have been taken to improve the electricity distribution system under the CAPEX work. The system improvement work has been completed keeping in view public safety, social benefits in terms of voltage improvement and reduction of technical losses.
Citing the example of lalit Nagar, the Enzen claimed that the low voltage problem in several areas has been sorted out by converting the single phase connections into three phases.
Enzen further claimed that it is keen to minimise the distance between two electrical poles, load to trim tree branches to curb the growing breakdowns and hazards which prevent uninterrupted power supply.
The company attended 2695 fuse calls in the month of June alone. Appealing to the people of Dhenkanal for cooperation, the Enzen management said it is prepared to do anything to restore people’s faith in the company.
