Entrepreneuriallessons for Xavier students

XSeed, the idea and initiative cell of Xavier Institute of Management here, organised ‘Kickstart- Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive 2015’ on Sunday. The aim was to raise awareness about entrepreneurship amongst the students.The speakers for the occasion were Canyon Consultancy and Crux Power founder Chandrashekhar Mishra, Goonj founder Anshu Gupta and Techno5 MD and joint secretary, TiE Bhubaneswar Subasish Mishra.

Chandrashekhar Mishra encouraged students to try new ideas. He shared the success story of his company. Anshu Gupta said there's no point of criticising if one can't be a part of the process and also that it's important to push and not accept the status quo. He also recalled his personal experiences in Uttarkashi and Old Delhi, both of which had impacted his life. Subasish Mishra spoke on the business side of entrepreneurship.

This was followed by an open house discussion where the speakers addressed the queries from the audience. Xseed coordinator Abid Hussain presented the vote of thanks.
