Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) president Pyarimohan Mohapatra on Friday called upon the party executive body members to enroll at least one member from each family into the party fold so as to make the OJM an alternative to the ruling BJD.
Addressing at the party council and executive body meeting, Mohapatra said, “In Odisha, vote purchase practice was not experienced till last general Assembly polls. The ruling BJD has started the practice. Only strong organisation and massive awareness is the key to check the undemocratic method.” “I urged the party cadres to work as a soldier. They should move village to village, block, and districts to sensitise people about the objective and aim of the party,” said Mohapatra.
Around 25 executive body members attended the meeting and two proposals have been accepted unanimously.Party vice president Birakishore Parida, Dibyasingha Mishra, Bibhutibhusan Mishra also attended the meeting.
