The Policy Planning Board (PPB), headed by former Odisha High Court judge Justice AK Parischa, of the Technical Education department on Friday decided that students aspiring to get admissions to engineering courses would appear in the all India examination (JEE Main) like previous year.
Sources said the board also decided that OJEE would be held for courses other than engineering courses.
The panel, however, left the final decision on the Government on which route students aspiring to get admissions to engineering courses would go, JEE Mains or Odisha JEE. The State Government is under pressure of private engineering colleges which seeks OJEE be conducted for students desiring to get admission in their institutions.
