The joint eviction team consisting of the BMC and the BDA on Monday cleared encroachment on Government land in Acharya Vihar mouza under the Saheed Nagar police limits in the city.
The joint squad demolished six numbers of AC-sheeted structure and about 30 metres of extended tin sheet over the Government land which is used as drain and road were evicted. An excavator of the BMC was engaged by the squad for the eviction drive.
