The production unit of Odia film Tu Mo Dehara Chhai is currently shooting at the Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Starring Amlan Das and Riya Dey as the main leads, the premise of the story is basically father-son relationship.
A clear departure from the traditional commercial format, Tu Mo Dehara Chhai is going to have an exciting storyline revolving around the character played by the veteran actor Mihir Das, Amlan’s real life father. In the movie, Mihir has played father to Amlan, whose screen name is Dev. In the course of the film, Dev acts strangely enough which makes Mihir put his son in the asylum.
It’s not just Amlan’s character but the story itself has strong elements of suspense. Under the direction of veteran director Chandi Parija, the flow of the story has been manipulated for dramatic effect. According Parija, the film has everything: love, emotion and family drama, and the way dramatic elements come together in the film makes it a compelling story. “It’s a thorough emotional thriller,” remarked Mihir Das, the versatile actor. This is going to be the second film for Amlan. Produced by Sunil Rout under the banner of the SK Arts and Soumya Productions, the movie will also feature actors like Saroj Das, Salil Mitra, Runu Parija and Jeevan Panda.
