Members of the Nikhil Odisha Bidyut Sramik Mahasangh (NOBSM) called off their proposed dharna here on Friday, said Mahasangha general secretary Akshay Tripathy in a Press release on Thursday.
After discussions with the Director (Human Resources) of the Odisha Power Transmission Corporation limited (OPTCl) here, the NOBSM decided to postpone the dharna.
The members said the company gave commitment for restructuring of the wages very soon. Prashant Mahapatra, Suresh Behera, Padmanabh Padhi and Dinabandhu Mohanty of the Mahasangh and Director Santanu Rath and Sanjukta Behera of the OPTCl took part in the discussions.
