People of 40 remote villages of Gajapati district would get electricity connectivity soon. The villagers had been demanding this since long.
According to a survey, electricity had not been provided to some villages of R Udaygiri and Nuagada blocks of the district. However, electricity polls have already been installed in some villages like Antarali, A Antarali, Dunguru, Khanjamera, Gadapadara and Gamangapada under R Udaygiri block.
Required electricity equipment would reach concerned villages before July 15and the work would be finished by August-end. The SR Associate is supervising the work.
All the BPl cardholders would get the electricity free of cost.
