A national-level ‘Bhajan Samaroh’ would be organised at the lingaraj Mandap in the Old Town area on Maha Shiv Ratri day on Tuesday on behalf of the Eamra Sanskrutika Prakashani, said its president and former Minister Suresh Kumar Routray and general secretary and journalist Sanat Mishra. Mumbai-based noted singer Sadhana Sargam and groups, Junior Kishore Kumar Sujit and 25 other singers would perform under the direction of Music director Manmath Mishra.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, MP Prasanna Patsani, Culture and Tourism Minister Ashok Chandra Panda are scheduled to attend this programme. A total of 15 noted persons, including lok Sevak Mandal secretary Deepak Malabya, Ortel director Jagimangat Panda and singer Padma Shri Prafulla Kar would be felicitated with the ‘Ekamra Samman’.
