The Khordha District and Sessions Judge on Monday allowed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to take AT Group directors Sambit Khuntia and Srikrushna Padhi on a six-day remand. The ED had on March 11 submitted petitions for remand of the two accused. Petitions in this regard were submitted in the Khordha District and Sessions Judge Court, which is the designated court under the Prevention of Money laundering Act. Both Khuntia and Padhi have been named in the chargesheet filed by the CBI in December.
