Enforcement Directorate Assistant Director Shivaji Nayak on Wednesday met CBI officials here and discussed with them about money trails of some chit fund companies. Notably, the Supreme Court had asked the ED to join the CBI for finding the money trails of the chit fund firms. As these companies have transactions outside the State and country, neutral agencies like CBI and ED could unearth the truth behind the money trail, the apex court had ruled.
Sources said Nayak discussed with the CBI officials about the Artha Tatwa Group’s chargesheet and money trail of other companies. He asked the CBI sleuths to give him some documents relating to the AT Group, the sources added.
