The East Coast Railway on Monday conducted awareness activities in various trains on the concept of Swachh Railgadi (Clean Train) to mark Swachh Rail-Swachh Bharat campaign.
ECoR higher level officers inspected trains to ensure onboard cleanliness of trains. Toilets and quality of linens in all trains under the ECoR were inspected at washing lines, railway yards and stations. Suggestions/feedbacks were taken from the passengers to improve the quality amenities. Pantry cars of the running trains and catering establishments have also been inspected and necessary instructions have been carried out.
