In view of modernisation work to be taken up on the 3rd line between Baranga and Khurda Road, the train traffic would be blocked from 7.40 am to 11.40 am on Sunday between Baranga and Mancheswar stations. As a result, two local passenger trains would be cancelled on Sunday and a few Express trains may be controlled en-route.
While the Talcher-Puri-Talcher Passenger and the Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh Passenger would remain cancelled, the Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Express and the New Delhi-Puri Nandankanan Express would be controlled between Bhadrak and Cuttack.
Similarly, the Sambalpur-Puri-Sambalpur Inter City Express would be controlled between Angul and Narajamarthapur stations, informed the East Coast Railway (ECoR).
The ECoR has sought all cooperation from the passengers and rail users.
