The4 East Coast Railway (ECoR) carried the highest-ever freight loading in 2017-18 and became the highest freight-loading zone of the Indian Railways.
For this outstanding performance, the ECoR has received the prestigious Traffic Operations Shield and Accounts and Finance Management Shield for 2017-18 at the National Railway Week Celebrations in Bhopal on April 16.
While ECoR General Manager Umesh Singh and Chief Operations Manager Debraj Panda received the Operations Shields from Union Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal, GM Singh and Principal Financial Advisor Raj Kumar Manoch received the Finance Management Shield from the Railways Minister, said an ECoR release.
