The Election Commission (EC) on Monday ordered repolling in seven booths in the State where elections were disrupted due to violence in the second phase polls on April 17. As per the order, repolling in six booths at Niali in Cuttack district and one booth at Telkoi block in Keonjhar district would be held on April 25, sources in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said.
The EC’s directive for repolling came following recommendation of CEO Mona Sharma.
