The 67th Republic Day was celebrated under the auspices of the East Coast Railway (ECoR) at the Railway Stadium, Mancheswar, here wherein ECoR General Manager Rajiv Vishnoi unfurled the National Flag and took the ceremonial salute from a large contingent of Railway Protection Force (RPF), Bharat Scouts & Guides and schoolchildren.
Vishnoi conveyed his best wishes to the railway employees and their family members and rail users. He congratulated the ECoR employees for making creditable achievements possible against all odds consistently.
The General Manager urged the employees to provide full and committed support to explore new frontiers of excellence through collective endeavours in the days ahead.
A colourful cultural programme was also presented by schoolchildren, Bharat Scouts & Guides to mark the occasion. East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation President Shalini Vishnoi and Principal Heads of the various departments of the ECoR were present on the occasion.
