The Ganjam Police have made a good initiative by introducing e-Office service here at the Ganjam Police District headquarters at Chhatrapur on Wednesday, informed SP Brijesh Rai in a press meet.
The basic objective of the initiative is to ensure that the Ganjam Police can reach people easily in various pro-people development works undertaken under 5-T and “Mo Sarkar” programme, Rai said. Now, e-office seva can remove both time and distant constraints in fulfilling the genuine needs of the public, he said.
Speaking on containing Covid-19 pandemic, Rai said that anyone who violates the Covid-19 lockdown guidelines will be strictly dealt with and the IICs and the SDPO of Ganjam Police district have already given strict instructions to bring culprits and law violators to book and collect fine and such other measures as prescribed in the guidelines, he added. The Ganjam Police have already collected fine from 2500 persons, he pointed out.
