A workshop on ‘Case Study Approach of learning’ was organised at the DAV School of Business Management (DSBM) for students of DSBM and teachers from various leading secondary schools and colleges across the State.
Speakers said the case study approach is the most important technique of learning by which the teachers can engage the students and develop creativity and visualisation power in the mind of young students.
Acclaimed case study expert Prof Debapratim Purkayastha, who has been teaching case study approach of learning throughout the world in various universities, graced the occasion as chief guest and carried on the interactive session on case study.
The teachers training programme was structured so that the unique skill of case study approach of learning can benefit millions of students of Odisha.
Prof Purkayastha explained the modalities of preparation of case studies through interactive sessions. Abhishek Kundu took a motivational session for the students.
DSBM president Madan Mohan Panda felicitated the chief guest for his immense contribution of case study approach of learning. DSBM principal Dr DN Mishra administered the session and HR & OB faculty Satyajit Dikshit coordinated the entire event.
