A drunkard man set his wife on fire here on Friday only for taking Rs120 from his pant pocket.
Police sources said Pratap Choudhury of Binchana village under the Bhanjanagar police station in Ganjam district was staying with his wife at Sandhakuda area of the Paradip Municipality at Ward-18.
On Friday, Choudhury poured kerosene on his wife Sandhyarani (30) and set her afire even though she had taken the money for domestic expenses.
Sandhyarani suffered 90 per cent burn injuries and as rushed to the SCB College Hospital in Cuttack for treatment.
