With the State Government taking no measures to tackle the drought-like situation and prevent possible migration of people in drought affected areas, the BJP has decided to gherao Revenue Inspector (RI) offices on September 23.
The party would also submit memorandum to the Governor to this effect too.
“Not a single State Government official in grassroots level visited the agriculture lands. Similarly, the State Government is yet to come up with a policy to check the possible migration,” said a Press release issued by the BJP party office here.
It also stated that though the order of the Chief Minister to access the drought situation the same is yet to begin as most RI, Amin and VlW posts are lying vacant in grassroots level.
