The BJP leaders alleged that not a single State Government official in grassroots level visited the agriculture lands of 305 RI circles out of the total 349 affected RI circles.
The party workers gheraoed Nuapada district’s 32 RI circles, Kalahandi’s 30, Balangir’ 50, Subarnapur’s 16, Jharsuguda’s 15, Bargarh’s 25, Sambalpur’s 24, Kandhamal’s five, Boudh’s 17, Khordha’s seven, Bhadrak’s 27, Puri’s two, Angul’s seven 7 and Keonjhar district’s 46 RI circles.
“The State Government is yet to come up with a policy to check the possible migration,” alleged party’s State president KV Singh Deo.
