The driver of a truck was found crushed to death under the wheels of the vehicle on NH-215 near Raisuan under the Sadar police limits in Keonjhar district on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Pintu. Another person was rescued in an injured condition from the spot and admitted to hospital.
Two trucks bearing registration numbers WB33B2857 and WB29A7873 were parked back to back at the spot. Pintu was found dead under the former vehicle.
The reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained. Police suspected that the incident might be a case of murder.
