The Pujya Puja Prativa Parishad observed the 167th birth anniversary Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das here on Tuesday with Parishad national president Padmakar Guru chairing the event. Former Minister and freedom fighter Dolagobinda Pradhan inaugurated the event and called upon youths and all Odias to come forward and support the demand for Bharat Ratna to Madhubabu immediately.
As chief guest, former president of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Niranjan Patnaik opined that contributions of Madhubabu towards formation of Odisha as a separate State would always be remembered. He exhorted everyone to participate in the signature drive launched by the Parishad to support the demand for Bharat Ratna to Madhubabu.
