The Sub Collector -cum-District Project Coordinator of SSA, Kanhu Charan Dhir, taking a serious note on the allegation of engagement of small students in manual labour work by a school authority, directed a probe into the matter.

According to sources, three days back some students of Pakhada Nodal Primary School were engaged by the school authority to pour water in buckets on a newly constructed boundary wall. The intellectual mass and parents of the students expressed their concern and condemned the act of the school authority. As a result, the probe was instituted.

“Stern action against the errant teachers and the chairperson of School Managing Committee will be taken if they were found guilty,” assured Dhir.
