Incessant heavy rains since Wednesday have thrown life out of gear in several parts of the State capital.
The low-lying areas were submerged under rainwater, causing misery to the residents.
The worst-affected areas were Jayadev Vihar, Acharya Vihar, Shanti Nagar, Bairagi Nagar, Jagannath Nagar, Behera Sahi (Nayapalli), front of the ISKCON temple, Unit-IX, Rasulgarh over-bridge area and Rath Road (Old Town)
