The Samruddha Odisha on Sunday said it would lead a mass agitation if BJD leaders disrupt the CBI’s ongoing investigation into the chit fund scam by airing ‘accusing’ statements against the Central probe agency.
“People of the State are in support of the chit fund scam probe being conducted by the CBI as they hope that they would get their hard-earned money back after investigation. However, some BJD leaders are accusing the CBI of getting directionless and terming it as BJP investigation agency. This indicates that the BJD doesn’t want the depositors to get their money back,” party general secretary Prabir Mohanty said.
Mohanty further stated that the truth would ultimately come out even if BJD leaders make desperate bids to hide their party colleagues’ reported involvement in the scam.
