The 91st birth anniversary of freedom fighter and former Minister Dola Govinda Pradhan was celebrated on Thursday at his residence.
Attending as chief guest, freedom fighter Bhabani Charan Patnaik said the number of good persons in the society is decreasing day by day. “To make a principled society, good human beings are needed,” he added.
Former PCC president Niranjan Patnaik said the young generation should follow the path of Dola Govinda Pradhan.
Aryakumar Jnanendra presided over the meeting. Former MP Anant Prasad Sethi, former MlA Gurupada Nanda, former VCs Dr Bimalendu Mohanty and Narendra Mishra, Basant Das, former Dean of OUAT Dr Buddhadeb Mishra and social worker Sita Ballav Mohapatra were present, among others.
