In a shocking incident, stray dogs were found eating the dead body of an abandoned newborn girl child near the District Headquarters Hospital here on Monday.
The hospital authorities said they did not know where the body of the infant came from as she was not born at this hospital.
“I inquired in the hospital and came to know that no dead child was born in last two days at the DHH. Maybe, she was born at home or some other places or was from another area,” said Additional District Medical Officer (ADMO) Sujatarani Miahra.
