The Diabetes and Endocare Clinic in association with the Delhi Public Senior Secondary School and the Roland Junior College Brahmapur observed the National Doctors’ Day here on Sunday.
local MlA Dr Ramesh Chandra Chaupatnaik, Brahmapur Development Authority (BDA) Chairman Subash Chandra Maharana, Roland Group of Institutes chairpersons Prof P C Sahu and Dr J Surya Rao and director J Jayalakshmi attended as guests.
The guests felicitated six eminent doctors of the silk city, anaesthesiologist Dr Harihara Patnaik, senior physician Dr VR Raju, gynaecologist Dr Subhadra Mangu, surgeon Dr K T Subudhi, paediatrician Prof Dr Ajit Kar and anaesthetist Dr KEP Subudhi for their sincere, dedicated and selfless patient care.
Notably, the day is being celebrated across India on July 1 in honour of legendary physician and second West Bengal Chief Minister Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.
Endocrinologist Dr Sunil Kumar Kota supervised the programme and Dr Sruti Jammula gave a vote of thanks.
