Vigilance officers on Monday arrested former Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital Surgery Specialist Dr Jayakrushna Tripathy for possessing disproportionate assets in excess of his know source of income.
Tripathy’s house had been searched on December 17, 2014 to unearth possession of disproportion assets.
During searches and after thorough verification, it was ascertained that he and his wife Debasmita Mishra were in possession of assets worth of Rs1,36,96,299 beyond their known sources of income.
Tripathy was arrested today and immediately forwarded to the court, informed an official arelease.
