After reports published in The Pioneer mentioning that the Dhenkanal Collector’s public grievance camp was not being conducted without keeping the visitors’ convenience in view, the recent public grievance camp held in Kankadahad block on Monday was held in a new user-friendly format.
Notably, Smt Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT) chairman Suparno Satpathy had written a letter to Collector Roopa Roshan Sahoo on March 30 decrying the inadequate seating arrangements for the aggrieved people, who
came to lodge their complaints. People, including senior citizens, used to stand for quite a long time to lodge complaints. This was published in The Pioneer.
Satpathy said, “I am glad that a more user-friendly format and setup for holding public grievance camp has been adopted by the Dhenkanal Collector. I hope they continue with the practice with utmost priority keeping in mind the dignity, sensitivity and compassion for the aggrieved complainants.”
